is tune of chorus related to tune of verse ?
 

I know this, that the tune of the verses are similar. But how is the tune of the chorus related to the tune of the verse, or is it completely different ?

The chorus can be the same tune as the verse but it can also be totally different and in contrast to the verse.

No rules, whatever seems to work for that particular song.
