I'm miles away from my friends with recording stuff. I can make new friends where I'm at and get er done, but I've kind of been sitting on material, gathering it, waiting to go see my ol friends and stuff. Plus, the one guy plays bass like a G and the other is a guitarist so I'd like to get them to throw a few licks over whatever I record.
I've been sittin on Lab Rat for over a year, and finally got the balls to make it public., Now I just need to record that beast. I wrote it with a particular beat in mind and I'd like to record it but all I can do at this moment is to play the track through my speakers and rap into the built in laptop mic. I haven't tried it yet but I KNOW thats gonna sound like dog****. Mulling my options. Pretty excited about getting Lab Rat done... I want it released. !Margana was something I threw together in an hour. It's pretty much a poetry slam piece. It's not designed around a beat or anything, but I can see it with a minimal bass line and maybe some bells and whistles here and there. I really like the message it has on the surface as well as the hidden message inside of it...
