i'm just on the first track... i dig the layered rhythms between the guitar and bass. are the drums synthesized? and if not, what's up with the snare?

The drums are mostly taken from demo tracks from Hydrogen, free/opensource drum software. Canadian Mist is the only exception, which is me playing rythm/lead over a drum/bass/keys track made by Keith at jamsession.
