Hey Jean34,

if you don't want to install any software on your computer I recommend crap-product.com.
On this website you can easily write your own music with an integrated editor. For saving and printing your compositions you need to create a free account.

Why don't you just lean across and tell him that seeing you two are both using the same computer?

Only took OP about 6 minutes to create a new account and post. Not too shabby.

Hello, friend for new software releases you can check musicforte.com. If you want a wide variety of musical genres from the classics to the contemporary or if you want music sheets then you can try this site. And you also find the lyrics as well as method books for various numbers and artists.

Being the thread was started by a spammer and not closed, some redemption:

I don't know of any free music notation software, but with how expensive and annoying and full of crap Finale is, I would say there isn't any good ones.

If all you use Finale for is to notate scores, you've paid WAY too much for just that. The reason it is so expensive is all the playback and rendering features, all of which are a pain and a half to use.

I tried Sibelius once but that one is expensive too and I hadn't tried it long enough to form an opinion.

Also, it is not worth the investment or time to score your music if it won't get played, so you might want to work on building a reputation and making friends in the business first.

A free program is Anvil Studio. It's pretty crap and I prefer Finale and hearing that Finale is also full of crap probably means that Anvil Studio is even crappier. But if you want something free to notate scores, try Anvil Studio.

Honestly, I only use Finale out of necessity. It is great as notation software, but not worth the price. The price of it is because of the extras (like playback and things) and it is the extras whih are crap.
