The Lines Are Drawn

A typical anti everything punk rock song, one of the tracks Ill be recording this september.

The lines are drawn but you cant see straight, your minds so full of hate
drunken with the power of a raging state
They say the lies are over but then its another day and the reasons for reactions bring more questions in the way.

with no remorse they lack integrity
with no plan of actions theres no future left to see
they claim the past has passed but the shadows have been cast
and you wonder how the controversy fades so ****ing fast?

The lines are drawn - decide your fate
The lines are drawn - no cheap escape
The sands of life - we all relate
The lines are drawn - the lines are drawn

The thought of past attacks keep the public from fighting back
censor what goes in our heads and expect us to relax?
hypnotize the countries youth with outdated tales that hold no truth
believe church and state are seperate? theyve already gotten you.

with no remorse, without sincerity
they raise the level of confusion and beef up security
No mention of war again in the newspaper today
chalk another one up to Uncle Sam, he always gets his way.

The lines are drawn - decide your fate
The lines are drawn - no cheap escape
The sands of life - we all relate
The lines are drawn - the lines are drawn

i love u!, u r genius! its like an Incubus, Rage Against the Machine song rolled together. i love it. i've finally found another anti-bush/war attitude, critic of the so called democracy we are given. and more importantly another person out there who doesn't believe all the shiz-it their trying to choke down our throats. the government is brain washing and liars. if i ever am in doubt of this i always crank up A Perfect Circle.

Lay your head down child...
i won't let the boogey man come
Sleep to the sound of the rhyme of the war drums.

that is a great song, its about bush and the war in iraq, obviously bush is the boogey man. lol.

well i very much enjoyed it, keep it up and i will continue reading...

peace,

by the end of the year i should have most of my songs available for listening. My drummer is flying down in September and we are going to get alot of our songs studio recorded by a friend of mine who really knows what hes doing when it comes to mastering a good thick sound.

Its pretty sweet, it reminds me of alot of 80s hardcore, I like how it builds up in the beginning.

right on, pretty much what we were going for with this one. The crowds so far have gotten into it, which feeds us even more..this one tends to get a little crazy at shows.
