Okay so the song is about when you're in a place, and in all fairness on the outside it would seem like it's a great place but you can't see, for example the green of the leaves or hear the song of birds because of this shadow, this darkness that is polluting you and you just want that once person to bring you back into the light where you can appreciate what life has to offer.
