Why am I looking for your feedback?

It's a question I ask myself when I share something of mine with another. Why? Do I need some sort of validation from someone else to feel good about what I've created?

Why does anyone feel the need to do so? It's an interesting topic. Please, provide me with your insights if you'd like.

I'm going to share something I've written recently. Here goes.

Look at me
Look at my life and watch me as I waste it
In each passing moment another star dies
A radiant exhibition of time
A gentle caress and a sweet surrender
As I stare into the face of God and the sweet singing siren who graced it

You see me as a passerby
As if the passage to destiny is the tide of a fortuitous moon

Art is about communication.

Knowledge, language, art, etc operates as a dense series of interconnecting influences — kind of like a collage.

So, seeking out others' opinions can be insightful. Fresh perspectives help broaden your perception of your craft, allowing you to grow as an artist.

After all, communication necessitates interaction. :)
