I have no direction with any of these. I kind of just write a bunch of stuff and see what sticks. These are the four I keep coming back too...
The Sun Sets in A Valley of Cranes Blessed roses I’ll Always Remember you. Take this thought and rescue the red glow The river runs through with grace and pain Blocked by dams made of imps and devils A sea of white dances with the red glow The river reflects a courageous song To form the shape of a white reaper Stare into the void as the red glow fades Welcome as the blue mixes into black Then the coldest heart rises covering the valley The mighty white sea flies away Forever searching for the mighty red glow The Season of Burial Painstakingly searching for another way out The sand, the dirt, the grass, the flesh, the blood When shovel meets soil and the old man cries We search for answers that we knew all along Cause for reconciliation I think not You might think twice but I disregard the chance Cause for reconciliation I think not You might believe but you don’t receive The pallbearer walks out black cloth in hand He begins to cough for him its hard to stand Crept out of his tomb, like the savior long ago Roll the stone back now, or witness the fruit hang low Cause for reconciliation I think not You might think twice but I disregard the chance Cause for reconciliation I think not You might believe but you don’t receive Blasphemy the crime, based on ancient law I chose not to die, you forgot my autumn The famous season of burial, the only one The snow began to fall, As such I wished for rain Passage Through the Mountains of Ash and Snow The beauty of death lies under the snow Forever walking forward, currently trekking up The stillness retreats for each step I take I see the blue begin to permeate the sky I seek the peak to recieve my understanding I keep marching with tree branch in hand Cold water falls down my chest I’ve reached the top, nobody can deny The beauty of death lies under the snow Forever walking forward, currently walking down The stillness returns for each step I take I see the blue fading from the sky I seek the valley to report my understanding I keep marching with tree branch in hand Cold water soaks my frostbitten feet I’ve made my mark, nobody can deny The Urban Smoke Encroaches Upon The Marsh I felt a cough come upon the lonely locust The water looks stagnant, lonely to its reflection A house on a hill overlooking the swamp A question, a laugh, an answer, a truth Quicken the pace, I walk through mud Sinking slowly I feel the mood change The full moon still cannot shine through The Urban Smoke Encroaches Upon the Marsh The fish begin to rot, The lily begins to bloom The mud creates a dam, to stop the holy roil The mighty god dies along with the trees Chorus of the crow goes along with the falcon The Basin begins to fill, the Child drowns The logs begin to roll, the rocks submerge The slime and bile begin to stagnate The Marsh is becoming a lake, Smoke the bait
