A Musical Menagerie Among Other Things

Spoken word/prose, brief essays, and poetry (usually) preceding and sometimes following (mostly) related musical compositions; this will also serve as my playlist for listening as well. I have some pretty decent computer audio by Klipsch now so that works out fairly well.

I do have very diverse taste in music so this thread will be anything but genre specific. In a nutshell, I'm just compelled to write stuff and it's become somewhat of a hobby for me lately to combine the writing and the music into a single post; mostly related to one another, but not always.

Primordial

The primordial consciousness being born within the suffocating confines of a zero-volume existence,
the only way in which it could move,
was inward

An inward dream to cast the illusion of space within the mind of the primordial

One

One

One is my beginning, yet I am eternal,
One is my individuality, yet my diversity bears no limits
One is my permutation; my qualities are infinite

I am all things, and,
I am
One

One more for the road

From Nothing

A zero-dimensional point of consciousness that concurrently represents all space
A zero-dimensional point of infinite density from the limitless light that is God
to a singular material manifestation
that is the archangel
of the primordial
universe

Something From Nothing

So, maybe nearly a couple decades ago there was this argument that 'something' must have always existed,
otherwise, 'something' would have had to have come from 'nothing'. Back then the idea was that it was
impossible for something to come from nothing, therefore, something must have always existed, be
eternal, and that thing was God.

You could even slip a logical tautology in here so that one or the other must be true : either there is a
thing that is eternal, or there is not a thing that is eternal. Ultimately though, what transpired was
openness to plausibility of a something from nothing scenario over that of an eternal thing.

Thus began an inquiry into nothingness and the ramifications thereof

Do You Know the Way to San Jose

There is an infinitely substantial and dominant reality that transcends this four-dimensional (plus) existential matrix.
It is out of reach however, because the rules here do not apply there, for the most part, but we find ways.

We find ways to entertain concepts that are real, but out of this experience, these alternate realities

The Thing That Should Not Be

If it was said that the default state of existence should be nothing,
then this may leave most to conceptualize that of an empty space (or universe), but that's not it.
There is no rhyme nor reason as to why anything should even exist at all, but things do exist.

When creation is regressed to a point beyond space and time there remains this ineffable primordial thing

Godsmack

It is quite natural for us four-dimensional beings to conceptualize a default state of existence
being that of limitless space, when in fact that could not be further from the truth,
that there is no space; there never was. There is only the illusion of space
that was created within the mind of the primordial
