Default Nicole Willis and the Soul Investigators
Possibly my favorite modern soul artist. Keep Reachin' Up was criminally underrated in 2005. The Soul Investigators I think are one of the most competent backing bands of the past ten years. Check out Blues Downtown if you've never listened to her, you'll be hooked.
