When A Man Loves A Woman has to be the ultimate soul ballad. Other good ones are Stand By Me by Ben E. King, That's How Strong My Love Is by Otis Redding, How Can You Mend A Broken Heart? by Al Green and You Send Me by Sam Cooke and... and- Gaah, there are just too many good soul ballads!

That *is* a pretty ballad. I've never heard him sing it. I like the simple guitar and he sings very well. Isn't there some woman who sings a version of it, too?
