Looking for some help (genre)

I had just recently got into Fela Kuti, and wow i am hooked, Through a friend a came across Cymande and again wow.

i was wondering if anyone could suggest some other names in or around this genre or style of music

i think this is the most correct thread to post this in, but i am sure some one will tell me i am wrong.
