I think 'Lady Marmalade' & 'We are Family' are a couple of the better disco tunes, But I dont know about alot of others mentioned as disco. I dont remember bands like the Brothers Johnson, Earth Wind & Fire as Disco bands. Brick House by the commodors my have played on a few disco floors towards the end of the disco era. Still..I dont believe the commodors were a disco band. I dont think Diana Ross-up side down, would even make the disco quota. Not here in the states anyway. YMCA, yes..disco. But who am I to say...they can be whatever you want.

The Rolling Stones single "Miss You" from the 1978 release Some Girls, got as much airplay (if not more) airtime as any of all the other popular disco songs did in that particular (short) era.

The Sour Girls album by the Stones doesn't receive the credit it deserves, for just surviving that particular era and trend in that retrospect, alone.
