Wow. This thread's kind of old.
I keep wondering why people consider Sade to be a guilty pleasure! Is slow, slick, sultry music with class something to be ashamed of? Why does music have to be edgy or bold in order to be considered 'cool?'

But anyway, yes, I like Sade. Not all of her albums, but most. I'm a fan of pop/ R&B/ jazz fusion, so she's right up my alley taste wise, especially because it has that bossa nova-esque flavor. And her vocals are just incomparable.

Agreed....Sade should not be considered a 'guilty pleasure' as her music is pure class! Anyone seen her new concert DVD?

I went on a bit of Sade binge a couple of years back. She and her band are well represented in my DJ kit bag. ;) Stellar voice. Skillful and evocative. And the band at its best is as good as any when it comes to musicianship.

I didn't know they had a new release. Not bad.
Kinda down, like their later stuff but unmistakably Sade! Thanks.

Sade's music is boring, they never change it up. They stick with the same formula
