Help!

My friend and I are trying to think of a song from the 90's about running into an ex, something about seeing them carrying presents and they know its for their new love, snow is falling......it's driving me crazy

Seal's debut in 91 is one of my favorite albums from that era.

Lex Land. Her music is pure soul. I really like her music stuff and it's way different from her dad's band.

Morris Day and the Time were more from the 80's but very note worthy, not sure if you'd classify them as R&B or funk or both bbut very good at their heyday

Where did soul/R&B of the nineties stop and new jack swing begin?? Always seemed to be a lot of cross-over to me. Really loved Wreckx-n-Effect from that era though. Rumpshaker was biggg!

I didn't see Gerald Levert listed here unless I missed it-- and I can't leave him out. I've loved him since the days of Levert . I also love Kenny Lattimore. Most of my favorites you already have listed- Maxwell D'Angelo, Keith Sweat, Jagged Edge, Sade.

oh yeah and Alexander O'Neal-- he was the stuff back in the day

^ Alexander O Neal is an 80's R&B singer and yea he was great!

I have had debates on the real actual year New Jack swing broke out in the mainstream. Teddy Riley was making songs for artists back in the mid 80s that had elements of New Jack Swing but most argue around 1988/89 is when it became a popular genre.

Oh and I love that song! lol
