Surprisingly some dont!!

I found a first release of an album ON CASSETTE (Ampex - 1970) and they didnt know it was the first!! (They had it marked at 3.00)

So any album, if it's the first album, on a near dead medium such as cassette, has to be worth more than $3? That actually sounds like they priced it too high. 98% of cassettes are worth a dollar or less.

Also, it could be clearance. I out out records for less than $5 that are worth more than $10 because they've sat around forever.

I hear ya..All I know is its beautiful to get a goregous piece of analogue media for so cheap!!!!!!! (I feel guilty taking it so cheap to be frank about it)

So do you walk in an Oldies Store and immediately give them the first degree, perhaps waterboard him to see how much he knows, or do you make conversation and try to get to know the shopkeeper first?
