Default The Chi-Lites

I seem to be in a[Chicago]state of mind today..in the early sixties[1961]a group of youngsters calling themselves the[hilites]started singing,like many other young groups of the time they went nowhere but hung tough until they had a minor hit with[the man my daddy was-1969]by then they had changed the name of the group to the[chi-lites]and the hits started comin from the great writing of their lead singer[Eugene record]slowly they started to roll[I like your lovin-1970]by[1971]it was on[we are neighbors-more power to the people-have you seen her-yes I'm ready]by[1972]nobody could catch em[oh girl-a lonely man-the coldest days of my life-love is-being in love]the[70's]were theirs[a letter to myself-toby-we need order]and even as the eighties came they were still kickin[hot on a thing called love]one of the most loved soul groups ever,eugene record-marshall Thompson-Robert lester-createl jones...The Chi-Lites!
