What is this song?!
 

HELP! I heard this song several times on the juke box, but the guy who played it stopped coming to my bar and now I'm going nuts trying to find it. All I can remember is it sounded "funky" and had a Male-lead singer with a very expressive, funk/soul voice. He started the song out by saying:

"I'd like to get to know yaaa, yyeeeeaaaaaaaa"

That ONE LINE is stuck in my head and I'm going crazy. All my google searches keep bringing up pop music and thats making my ears bleed.
