My favourite soundtracks are for Lost in Translation and Rushmore. Both great movies, heightened by great music.

I love the soundtrack to Donnie Darko, everything on it fits the movie so beautifully.

The soundtrack to the Flash Gordon movie by Queen. Why? Because of the fantasy world arrangements.

The soundtrack for Aliens by James Horner. Spooky ass **** if you listen to it, with the lights out.

the songs on donnie darko are heavily 80s bands. I dont know about the sound track, but they play tears for fears and the song at the very end is a remake. any ways

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

I've always liked the soundtracks for Bram Stokers Dracula (very creepy by Wojciech Kilar), The Lost Boys, and Labyrinth.

The Harder They Come is my favourite soundtrack.
I don't have many soundtracks, but I'll give an honourable mention to Grosse Pointe Blank
