Halo 3 has the best orchestrated music. I don't play the game but my housemates play it and I love hearing the music.

Here here! Zelda's music is just great. I know that magic shop music of which you speak, very wacked out and awesome. Some seriously good pieces of music on there. I would have the Lost Woods songs stuck in my head for hours after playing that game. I can now play Lost Woods song on my harmonica. Yep, dweeb.

Cavestory is an awesome freeware game. As is New Satan Sam.

And I agree with FaSho, we need more like Jet Set Radio Future in the world. Haha.

I hope my breathing life into a thread that has been abandoned is okay... ha ha. figured that was better than making another one.

I love video game music. *3* I have so much on the comp, for every game I have ever played pretty much, and even stuff for games I haven't played. lol but I've watched someone else play, whether irl or on YouTube. nearly exactly half of all the music I have on the comp is video game music. yeah, I like it way too much.

I wish more games got official soundtrack releases... there's a lotta games I love that never did and never will. :/ though people do really well with gamerips, so no complaints really. but official releases are nicer.

I only own 5 soundtracks, and Gyakuten Saiban 2008 orchestra thing irl though. I will forever dream of owning Mario Party 3, Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario and Super Mario Galaxy soundtracks... among others. those are just some favorites that have official releases.

hmm, some other favorites besides those ones I stated that I wish I owned the official soundtracks for...

Chibi-Robo!
Final Fantasy IV
Sonic Adventure/2
and all the Katamari games.
