Default Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World OST

I'm surprised that a thread hasn't been made about this awesome soundtrack yet. It's possibly my album of the year. I love the new tracks Black Sheep by Metric, Ramona by Beck and all the songs by the bands from the movie written by Beck are fun. There are also some older favorites from Black Lips, Broken Social Scene, Frank Black, T. Rex and The Stones too. Has anyone else heard this soundtrack? Favorite track?

Here's a clip featuring members of Metric and Broken Social Scene talk about their songs in the movie and what inspired them. It's really cool. This soundtrack is definitely make my top 10 albums list of 2010.

The blu-ray comes out tomorrow, and this clip has got me listening to the soundtrack again at max volume! Chris Murphy of Sloan is in this clip. He was the music director on the set teaching the actors how to play the songs for the movie. Pretty cool stuff!

Sloan is one of my favorite bands--I liked the Scott Pilgrim music, too.

I loved the soundtrack to this film. I have looped it for hours on end. If only Sex Bob-omb were real
