All are added VF, great choice with Rage. I was hoping they'd get included on this.

A few contributions:

Math Rock: Tera Melos - The Werewolf and Ben
Outlaw Country: Waylon Jennings - Shadow of the Gallows
Electric Blues: T-Bone Walker - Left Home When I Was a Kid
Psychedelic Rock: Moby Grape - Come In the Morning

I disagree with the inclusion of Sonic youth as indie rock and believe they're more Noise Rock or Experimental Rock. Built To Spill would be abetter example of Indie Rock.

Yep, Sonic Youth would be perfect for representing Noise Rock. For example song Stereo Sanctity from Sister, classic Sonic Youth, or even better the majority of their earlier work. Problem with them is they have had many phases, but I think something from Sister would fit.

And one question - How the hell did Guided by Voices end up among sub genres of Avant-Garde?

Here's my suggestion:
16 Horsepower - Black Soul Choir (Alternative Country)

Lets compromise with Dinosaur Jr. then? Because that's the other band I was considering when I posted...
