Galavant

Is anyone watching and liking this on ABC? I think it's really funny and has a great soundtrack. (I bought the Season 1 soundtrack already and will get Season 2 when it comes out). The show is a sort of cross between Monty Python, the Princess Bride and Camelot. I'd post the link to the Season 1 title song but I'm not at 15 posts yet.

I saw the first episode, but sort of really hated it, so...

What is this doing in the general music section?

Fair enough. You seem to be in the majority on this one since everyone was surprised they got a second season (and made mention of the fact in the title song of the first episode in S2).

Wait, I thought it was like a TV special or something. I couldn't imagine a whole series of that from what I've seen.

It's in the subforum Soundtracks and Compilations. That isn't right?

It's midseason filler for ABC on Sunday nights. The first season was eight episodes, and the second season is ten. Tomorrow episodes five and six will be aired if I remember correctly.

If we're discussing the show itself and not the soundtrack, it belongs in media.

Ok, here's some music...

I think the Mencken music and Slater lyrics are very good, at once paying homage to Broadway style, but sometimes parodying it as well, as in The Worst Thing Ever.

Edited to add, thanks grindy for the info. It seems every forum has a different way of doing it.
