We will have to wait and see. But I still put my money on the Miami heat.

If Memphis does manage to get past the Spurs, they will be quickly dispatched by Miami, which will fortify my distaste for the NBA. Since 1980, there have been 20 different World Series champions, 16 Stanley Cup champions, 16 Super Bowl winners, and only 9 NBA champs, and two of those, Philadelphia and Dallas, only have one, and Houston's two during Michael Jordan's stint in minor league baseball, leaving the Lakers, Celtics, Pistons, Bulls, Spurs and Heat. I hate that about the NBA.

Of course if, as I expect, San Antonio and Miami meet in the finals, this trend is guaranteed.

Dude is an all star for sure. Gonna be a good series to watch. I figured Miami would roll through them. I still think Miami will find a way to pull it out.

Sparky 06-07-2013 10:57 AM

yeah miami has seemed a little lethargic on game 1 in a lot of these series. Need their role players to step up, especially battier. I was surprised haslem didn't get more minutes last night. Kinda questioned spoelstra's rotations a little bit-no wade or bron to start the 4th.

It'll be interesting if they gotta keep switching lebron to parker

Yeah I think shifting people on him is a good idea. Perhaps if it becomes a problem double down and keep the ball out of his hands. Problem is Ginobli as bad hes been could start shooting lights out at any moment. Spoelstra better start getting the big three 40 minutes a game or this series is already over. That as a titanic mistake not to have Bron and Wade out there to start the 4th. Lots of momentum swings, it should make for a great series regardless of who wins.

Man Tony Parker could the mvp. If the Spurs win the NBA Finals, the mvp would belong to Tony Parker.
