Congrats on game 1! Really wanted to watch Ryan Miller do this thing, but got stuck with Ovechkin of course...

EDIT: Well, on the bright side, this game was a close affair and Les Habitants just STOLE one from the Caps in Washington!

Ha! So much for the East being predictable. The only 1-4 seed that won was Buffalo.

This should be an interesting playoff series.

Nice GWG from Samuelsson, saw that thing coming from a mile away when he got set up in the slot. Excellent playoff series so far, plenty of upsets and more fun to watch every one of them!

This was the best game one I saw, and I only missed Buffalo/Boston. These two teams were playing at such a high caliber- it had a Finals feel to it. I'm excited for the rest of that series.

Thanks, awesome night! I love how the East is looking after only one game, hopefully it is foreshadowing of the series.

If we did an entire bracket I would have taken Van to go all the way in the West. I prefer to watch East coast hockey, but love to watch the nucks.

What great games today! Awesome hockey, loving every minute of it right now, just waiting on Chicago to tie up their series tomorrow to make this the first even-start to NHL playoff history. And it's not like teams are blowing each other out of the water here. 6-4 Bruins, 3-2 Kings, 6-5 Caps, this is piecing together to be one of the best playoffs in recent memory.

Excellent!
