Sadly MJ, that's a thing of the past.
If the silence isn't respected, it'll have more to do with society today, than with the City fans as a whole. In the 1950's you could have filled Old Trafford full to capacity with 75,000 City fans and I bet you'd have been able to hear a pin drop. I expect the minutes silence at the game will be observed with respect, but the pubs at kick off time could be a totally different matter. Which is why I'll be watching the game at the CC. |
