that's called soccer here in the more evolved half of the world. We're talking about a Man's game.

When is the draft and is it online?

Just grown men in their underpants pretending to cry in front of a 1/4 million people only to have a miraculous recovery when the referee in legitimate fear for his life brandishes a yellow card.

When people go down in american football it's because a man who could bench press the entire soccer pitch collided with them with moving at a speed just slightly faster then the first steam powered locomotives operated.

Irish Born, Liverpudlian for nearly a decade, but an American football convert to the core.

Yeah but no one kicks the ball. ;) I have watched an American Football game once, I managed to paint my entire garden fence and still had 250 adverts left to get through.

Must have missed that bit snoozing ;) Do you win money for the best team at the end of the season like we have over here?

There's no doubt that the football (american soccer) has the clear right to the name. First and foremost as you mentioned you actually use your foot a good majority of the game where is in the NFL the role of kicking the ball is relegated to the guy who was not good enough to play in the MLS let alone premier league, and thus has put on his helmet and become "a kicker".

In addition it came first and has "dibs" which of course holds up in any court internationally. Also the rest of the world calls it football so America might need to project a bit here. American Football should just be called what it really is: An excuse for men to gather for 8-12 hours on a Sunday (and some Saturdays) consume copious amounts of grilled, fried or pizza related food. Drink in excess of a case of beer, gamble on things he has no control and insult his friends, who have gathered with him and have taken his money.

That is real Football.
