Just tried this one in NYC..
Bond no. 9's New Haarlem http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7JAArcms7_...ew_Haarlem.jpg It's a coffee dominated scent and.. who doesn't like the smell of coffee? It almost gets better the longer it's on your skin. It just gets smoother.. and smoother.. and smoother. A fresh and rich coffee that dries down to creamy vanilla amber. Pretty much: crack. In other news, this fragrance is said to channel "a date night in Paris with your head in the stars" Van Cleef & Arpels' Midnight in Paris Pour Homme http://www.fashionmag.com/newsletter...eefarpels1.jpg Notes: "Black Lily of the Valley", Citron, Bergamot, Matcha Green Tea, Styrax, Benzoin, Tonka Bean and Incense. |
i wonder what percentage of perfume R&D goes into bottle design...

Last night I smelled the bestest smell ever. Lacoste Red. I was literally shocked when I found it to be lacoste because lacoste is quite common, but it was ****ing gorgeous.

WOW! Just got a few samples of Noir de Noir and it is unbelieve.
http://www.fragrantica.com/images/perfume/o.1822.jpg It's based around "Black Rose" and Black Truffle. It opens with an almost boozy, slightly fruity rose. Saffron gives it a lil bit of spiciness, and then it dries down to a bit of chocolate bolstered by a smooth accord of vanilla, tree moss, and oud wood. I've never really smelled anything like it. Definitely suggest trying this one. |
