Anyone other than me looking forward to these games? I really enjoy the winter games, esp. Hockey.

prefer summer games for events but winter is great because we (canada) aren't entirely useless in them.

That's absolutely true, they did. I was speaking more to the level of competition of the games, esp. my favorite winter sport, hockey. The Russian team would have been a gold medal contender, along with Canada (still the favorites), USA, the Scandinavian countries, et al.

Well, I was hoping against hope that the NHL would find a way to participate in the 2018 games, but it's not gonna happen. Oh well, there's still a lot of Olympics starting tomorrow.
