Hype for the thrash-talking but that's pretty mutch it, Mayweather is gonna destroy the man.

when was the last time Mayweather destroyed anyone?

he'll probably win but not by destroying Conor. he will beat Conor by keeping his distance and staying away from Conor's left hand while working the judges scorecard.

with that being said I think we can all agree that Conor has the ability to win via KO if he can somehow catch Floyd. my biggest beef with this fight is that it's 10 years too late, if Conor does somehow win it doesn't mean much considering the age difference.

Well I meant "destroy" as out-boxe him by a long shot, the match itself isn't that interesting to me 'cause in my opinion Conor has only like a 1% chance of hitting a killer punch and win.

the story will be conor's conditioning if the fight goes into later rounds. he's struggled with later rounds in UFC title fights, so he may really be in trouble with this one if this goes the distance.

conor has an incredibly dangerous left hand, if he connects with enough force there is a serious chance that Floyd doesn't get back up to beat the count. it's really Conor's only hope for winning the fight though so i would expect Floyd to build his fight plan around keeping away from it.

in terms of Conor winning not meaning much - do you really think Floyd is anywhere near the fighter he once was? in his last two or three fights he hasn't looked nearly as good as he did when he was Conor's age. sure it would be a big deal for an MMA guy to take down a boxer, but he's 40 years old, he isn't the same as he once was.
