the story will be conor's conditioning if the fight goes into later rounds. he's struggled with later rounds in UFC title fights, so he may really be in trouble with this one if this goes the distance.

conor has an incredibly dangerous left hand, if he connects with enough force there is a serious chance that Floyd doesn't get back up to beat the count. it's really Conor's only hope for winning the fight though so i would expect Floyd to build his fight plan around keeping away from it.
in terms of Conor winning not meaning much - do you really think Floyd is anywhere near the fighter he once was? in his last two or three fights he hasn't looked nearly as good as he did when he was Conor's age. sure it would be a big deal for an MMA guy to take down a boxer, but he's 40 years old, he isn't the same as he once was. |
