Hart, Ferdinand, Cole, Carrick, Gerrard, Lampard, Walcott and Rooney are World Class in my opinion.

Agreed.

Hart: Great natural stopper. Great awareness, commands his area well and kicks/throws the ball well.

Ferdinand: Calm and composed when on the ball. Able to actually get the ball down and play, one of the most complete centre halfs in recent time.

Cole: The best left back in the world and has been consistently for years. Great eye for attacking as well as being able to match any winger in the world.

Carrick: Great vision and great passer of the ball. Can pick out through runs and pick defences apart with the way he sprays balls around.

Gerrard: Capable of turning a game round on his own. Quality leader on the pitch, can attack and has a lightening bolt of a shot. Can play the ball, tackle, head; has every attribute you look for in a centre midfielder.

Disagreed on Lampard. Aside from set pieces, don't see any qualities that make him world class. My opinion.

Walcott: Frightening pace and acceleration. Has the ability to get the ball down and run at defenders. Superb dribbler and has a knack for getting himself into the right positions to maximise his effectiveness.

Rooney: Committed, runs for every ball. Closes down defenders, defends from the front. Can unleash precise or extremely powerful shots from any location. Lethal in the box. Rarely misses chances. Excellent at set pieces and has amazing shooting accuracy.

England's problem has always been that they're a team of individuals. The mentality in England is that playing for the national team is a bit on the side from the favoured club football. The teams of the past have always had trouble blending together and usually just play for themselves.

Lampard us the type if player who's so good that he often goes unnoticed. Scores 15+ every season from midfield, passing is excellent and his engine is superb. No brainer.

Man City could sign any keeper in the world, they haven't because they know Hart's up there with the best of the best in the world.

Name another player who is more effective at running at defenders with the ball than Walcott.

Hart is in the Top 5 keepers. That's good enough for me. Sure, we see him make mistakes, and he hasn't had his best season, but you wouldn't be able to watch ANY 'keeper in the World go a full season without a blemish.

As for Walcott, I put him in there because he is in the absolute top tier of players of his type. Not just a pace whore, he has pretty good quality on the ball ad provides goals / assists on a regular basis. Much better than donkeys like Pedro, Tello and Navas.

No, he isn't. He has had one good season. He made a plethora of mistakes last season, some of them were laughably bad. Don't make me start posting gifs of his blunders. I am sick of the media building him up to be world class. He is not.

Taking the piss. He's not top 5.

Casillas
Neuer
Vorm
Guzan
De Gea
Buffon

All of these have either had a better season or are just better full stop. This is off the top of my head.

Walcott isn't world clas I don't care how you word it. His problem is consistency. He isn't there yet.

Put more thought into it next time and I won't laugh as much, I am sure.

Again what is your definition of world class.

Joe Hart isn't world class, he has actually made mistake after mistake this season. I could understand the reasoning last year but not this. A good performance against Brazil in a friendly doesn't mean he is. He has had a diabolical season.

Before this he has had one good season.

I see you ignored the Walcott point as well.

Top 5 in your position is shit criteria btw.
