Clothing Hobbyists
Aight fashionistas. What are you eyeing, what are you buying, what do you have that you really dig?
I'm into my threads. I don't feel like taking pics of all my awesome clothes, but here's some **** I've purchased recently that have web pages. Check it out. http://www.tillys.com/tillys/images/.../253209127.jpg https://bonanzleimages.s3.amazonaws....13/61/__57.jpg |
Quick side note. My boss was just telling me at lunch about this site that his daughter uses to buy and sell used clothing. Says she gets some great stuff for cheap and makes good money selling her own things.

Classy B*stard.
Found a killer pair of 70s striped polyester flares at my local antique shop last weekend - the same shop that hooked me up with a gorgeous pair of vintage winklepickers last summer. Wore them together with a cotton poet's shirt and a burgundy velvet blazer - real mod style - looked sharp for the vinyl party last weekend.
I go wild for quality vintage clothing. http://i.imgur.com/WICJf04.jpg |

Stop it! ^...I GET ENOUGH BAND TS AND MOVIE TS FROM THE INTERNET ALREADY.
 I hate you innerspaceboy. But my wallet hates you more. |
Dear Jesus they made a 13th floor t! wooo I love you Roky. Wow that was embarrassing.
|
I actually don't own a single band T-shirt, and refuse to buy any. If I'm at a show, I'll get the vinyl or a patch. There's just too damn many bands I love, I'd be ****in broke.
Plus I like the mystery of nobody knowing what I listen to until I've told them. |
But that site isn't all band stuff, and I second the rec.

They sell a frikkin Terry Riley - In C t-shirt. I had $100 of tees in my cart in record time.
I love the internet. |
Prepping for Spring and Summer
UPDATE - The tees have arrived! The 20th anniversary Underworld tee is my design via Redbubble. As is the Captain Beefheart - Safe as Milk print.
The Klaus at the Moog and Brian Eno prints are courtesy of Night Channels. Printed and shipped in 7 days, and very affordable. http://i.imgur.com/Z129rBg.jpg For my next order I'll be picking up Tangerine Dream's Zeit and a few other classics. http://i.imgur.com/uVjMWWS.jpg These will likely be worn with a black corduroy blazer, dark denim and my favorite dress boots. Casual but smart enough for a day's outing for spring/summer or for crate digging in a dusty old shop. Here's John Peel wearing the same and pulling it off nicely. https://i.imgur.com/qAgioGY.jpg |
Finished off my summer tees project by putting together a tribute t-shirt of The KLF using their iconic Justified & Ancient graphic. Vector traced it from the liner of the album jacket.
Summer can't get here fast enough. http://i.imgur.com/SnTvfc4.jpg |
Here's my favorite piece of clothing.. Wish I had the opportunity to wear it more.
It's not exact but close.. It's a light grey zip-up peacoat with a hood. http://thumbs3.ebaystatic.com/d/l225...ceSvnqzlQw.jpg |
The jacket finally arrived. A little shorter than I hoped, but **** it, I don't dress sexy often enough anyways.

Stylin. I like that jacket a lot.

This popped up as a new design offered by Nightchannels today, along with a 15% temptation coupon. Shut up and take my money.
http://i.imgur.com/iAR22t1.jpg I know t-shirts are so "plebian" and passé but damn it, I'm proud to parade about the city sporting an image of the greatest blind street-musician-viking ever to brandish a spear. |
