Why?

Did you see them attack England fans in the stadium?

Euro 2016: Russia given suspended disqualification penalty & fine - BBC Sport

Racism, violence & launching flares into the England fans. Can't wait for Russia 2018.

Euro 2016: Violence threat 'unites' Wales and England fans - BBC News

Can't see it lasting long but

I'm not following Euro2016 too much...at the newscast they talked about violence, but they didn't say that Russia's been disqualified.
But it is a beautiful thing that Wales and England fans are united against violence threats.

It's a suspended disqualification; meaning if they act up inside a stadium again, they are disqualified*. Think of it like a very stern warning or a suspended prison sentence.

*They set a flare off inside the ground earlier btw.

I had thought of posting a new thread dedicated to the football violence as there is so much of it, so many clips and so many incidents to post and unfortunately now it looks like England fans have kicked off.

What are your thoughts on Italy's chances and the Italian squad?

FranPZ 06-15-2016 07:27 PM

I'm an ignorant about soccer, but I can try to give an answer to your question.
I think we have a quite good team...not as good as the one we had at 2006's world cup, but not bad.
We won against Belgium, it's a good start, but it doesn't mean that we'll have good chances also in the next matches.
If I have to say the truth, I think Italy won't go too far.

No worries.

Both of Italy's goals were excellent btw, vs Belgium.

I think Italy can do well though I agree it is an underwhelming squad. But Italy always seem to do well in tournaments. Same as Germany.

We don't always do well in tournaments....but it's not a problem :D
However, it would be nice to see a hypothetical Italy vs Germany match hehehe........ :D

That was unreal. What a fucking football match.

My boy Sturridge
