Of course. Southgate should have started without a keeper.

And it doesn't matter between Sweden and Swiss, I only typed Sweden because I could spell it without checking. Both shit teams with no hope at all.

And thus, England will lose in the first round because they were afraid to play Brazil. Belgium will lose too though that one's a closer call since Japan was laying down as well (either will lose to Brazil or Mexico anyway).

england lose with class

can’t understand all these play to always win statements. it’s a lot easier to walk into the semis and get lucky once or twice vs being the underdog in every single round. strategy wins trophies.

You know there are loads of examples of athletes using dirty tactics to gain success who then win, don't you?

Also none of us have said England will now win the World Cup.

or teams tanking in american sports in order to secure higher draft picks

pretty common tbh, weird to let your pride get in the way of tactical decision making.

That is the match I'm most nervous about. Belgium didn't want to win either but then again they did score a goal. Japan on the other hand laid down when they knew they clinched a spot despite losing (Happy for Poland though).

Yeah, they're called the New York Yankees.

I could use this as an analogy for more serious things to show why the whole world is screwed up, but I'll take my leave and look for a music thread. Good luck tomorrow (BTW: I actually like England. I just don't like their tactics).
