I like to list all of their professional MMA accomplishments. Some people who read this thread may not be up-to-date on the fighters.

4-time UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion and current Featherweight Champion Amanda Nunes [17-4 MMA,
10-1 UFC] says that she is done with the 145-pound featherweight division. She moved up to featherweight from the
135-pound Bantamweight division last month and defeated WMMA magnate Cris "Cyborg" [20-2-0-1 MMA,
5-1 UFC] at UFC 232 for the title to become a 2-division champ. Nunes handed Cyborg her first loss since 2005.
But after capturing the belt, Nunes says that she has no interest in defending it.

Shit like this pisses me off. If you are a champion, you should not be allowed to fight outside of that division!
Your duty is to defend that belt. This is why the UFC and their ranking system is a joke.

4-time WEC Featherweight Champion, 9-time UFC Featherweight Champion and GOAT contender Jose
Aldo [27-4 MMA, 9-3 UFC] says that he plans to fulfill the final 3 fights of his UFC contract by the
end of 2019, and then retire from MMA.

Aldo put together an astonishing 18-fight wins streak from 2006 to 2014. He is slated to face former Jungle
Fight Featherweight Champion Renato Moicano [13-1-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC] at UFC On ESPN+ 2 on
February 2nd in Brazil.

i like champion vs champion fights but belts shouldn't be on the line, it just makes things messy. imo weight classes are far too strict as well and some of the weight cutting fighters have to make for weigh ins are incredibly unhealthy.

i think by taking the belts out of it, you have the ability to let the fighters be flexible on weight. if both parties are ok with it let them go in at their natural fight weight.

But seriously though every fighter seems to have worn a belt at some point which just makes them sound like they're trying to keep their pants up.

All a champion-vs-champion fight does is manage to clog up 2 divisions with one fight.

Fighters should fight at their natural weight. It's stupid of them to put their bodies through hell.

I remember cutting 30 pounds in a month for a fight one time. It was awful. Just chugging 3 gallons of water per day, working out, sweating and pissing, followed by a cold shower. Then repeat. Not fun.

The UFC will be debuting a new championship belt design:

The belts will be customized according to each fighter's country, weight class and number of title defenses. It's ugly as fuck if you ask me.

All fighters successfully made weight for tomorrow's UFC On ESPN+ 1 card. 5-time UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ
Dillashaw [16-3 MMA, 12-3 UFC] is looking crazy skinny at flyweight [125 pounds], as he readies for tomorrow night's
UFC Flyweight Championship fight against current champion Henry Cejudo [13-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC].

Champion and WMMA GOAT contender Amanda Nunes [17-4 MMA,

flyweight division. This would make her the only 3-division champion in
UFC history.

Brutal DQ for Hardy.

Pissed, wanted to see it go to the late 3rd with pretty boy.

Shitty way to end a fight, but seeing as how it was more than half way through the first round, it had to be deemed a DQ, even if it was accidental.

But I have no sympathy for Hardy. He's a woman beater and a coke head.

ManifestBlasphemy666 01-20-2019 04:33 PM

It was just funny seeing Dana's plans go up in flames they tried so hard to protect Hardy to the point where they defended him and told reporters not to ask certain questions and then he gets himself DQd.....
