what happened to marshall

I bought a marshall amp a couple months ago and it's already broke.

I've never been very impressed by Marshalls. I think they are just overpriced and not worth it. Its all in the name in my opinion.

you didnt take care of it, or went for the super cheap stuff that isnt very good. ive seen bands on there 5th or 6th full tour using marshall JCM's that are over 10 years old that still crank just fine.

Marshall went to crap.

They aren't the best anymore.

Even Peavey's are better than Marshall's. I'd use my Peavey over the over-priced Marshall's anyday

my friend has a marshall. got it from his parents for a birthday. two months playing with the band and he blew the speaker. ive played some of the more expensive marshalls...and i just dont like their sound.

im with this guy.. id take a peavey any day over a marshall. gregb...i say get your money back for the amp and get yourself a peavey, or a crate, maybe a genz benz. << those have great sound.

Thanks for calling me a guy

I appreciate it

I'm actually a female. lol.

But it's okay. It doesn't bother me.

ahh....my mistake.

*ebarassed*

no hard feelings?

PrettyDemented 01-03-2006 07:48 PM

Course not.

It's pretty hard to tell who's what online...

sometimes it's even harder when you actually can see the person. lol

I suggest buying a Mesa Boogie amp as they are very reliable, although delicate very nice warm sound
