i'd recommend you just record drum tracks at a studio and plug your guitars straight to the computer

^That would sound like ass though. Thats how my band recorded a demo and it sucked nut.

xcult_classicx 12-20-2006 02:01 AM

seriously? i know a lot of people from here who made a whole EP like that, and it sounds great. (uhmm, maybe because the dudes in that band work as sound engineers at a studio) oh well....

littleknowitall 12-20-2006 08:09 AM

Aye well if i was a sound engeneer that would help, but really its just so i dont have to tab songs out robotically in power tabs so i can hear them, i want something i can move around with me so i can intrude on drummers houses that i know and borrow their kit to lay down some drums to whatever im writing and generally something that doesnt take up too much room.

if you live near westlothian i have the number of a cheap recording studio.

beat_monkey 12-22-2006 06:59 PM

Get yourself a Behringer eurorack and then plug it into your computer, The eurorack will give you guitar / bass inputs and microphone preamps. Goodluck!
