Buy a karaoke CD maybe? If you want to win something like that you'll be better off singing a song that most people know anyway, so it's better to go for an old standard and for that purpose you could just buy a karaoke CD. All you need to do is find one with some songs you like on it.

don't know how you can dothat....i would find a cd and use it, but here is a site i get backing tracks from for guitar occasionally....they have some songs by bands and stuff, but these aren't originals...they are version people made themselves without lyrics...so it could work for you too, but it would not be the original track...check it out, might be worth a shot...and if any guitar players stumble in here...check this out too...they do have some good jams to practice solos over and stuff.

Perhaps, a little research might help. Reading through the reviews at SmartRatings.com can probably solve your problem. I can't be sure but who knows. It's only a suggestion by the way.

There's a plugin for winamp named vocal remover or something. It's not the best thing but it works so so.
