you buy guitar cord.... stick one side in the guitar... the other in the amp with the hole labled "guitar"

if one such hole doesnt exsist find the one that says input and if its in a different format you'll need some kind of converter..

peavy is mostly guitar so it will probably have a guitar input, im not a big peavy person so this might be all jibberish :/

ok smarty pants...there is just an input, no power, no volume nothing...I think I have to have an amp that goes to this or something...maybe a pedal i don't know...or maybe even a whole sound system.

Well, you just bought a speaker cabinet, which is essentially what a monitor is; for our purposes "monitor" is a fancy word for "Speaker". in order for you to make it work for guitar you will undoubtably have to invest in an amp head, which is a guitar pre-amplifier and power amplifier combined. If possible I would try to return it simply because you will most likely spend signifigantly more money on an amp to drive it than you did on the monitor itself.
