Microphone Splitter Question

I just purchased a set of Microphones for my hand drums and our mixer does not have enough inputs for all of my mics and the rest of the band's mics. What is the technical term of the item that I need to buy to eliminate this problem? We are keeping the same mixer so buying a larger mixer with more inputs is out of the question. Is the item called a microphone splitter? I found something that I think may be the correct item.

I would just use a sub mixer. You can pic up a decent 8 channel yamaha mixer for less than £200
