as of today, Sennheiser HD600's.

I'm stoked. I can actually hear bass now! I had HD280's.

Did someone delete posts or is this guy actually talking to himself?

Those are mine currently. Sony MDR-XD200 quite heavy on the bass so they are real good for electronic music, I only use them at home when it gets late at night and people are sleeping.

YES!! I was hoping there would be at least ONE Grado fan! LOVE my SR-60i. Still am amazed by the quality of sound coming from $80 phones. Quite possibly the best I have experienced. Definitely runs with the top dogs.

I got an AKG K512.

It's really good, and not costly. It's closed, so that's probably what I usually search for in headphones, as I'm always surrounded by people that I'm trying to ignore.

Use these monday-friday @ work. If I am out and about on trains then I use a 5 year old pair of Sennheiser px-100's. Fold small enough for a pocket but still provide decent sound quality .

Anyone got a recommendation for a good set of headphones to use at the gym? The main two problems I have with my current ones are that even though they are the headband earbud kind, they don't sit tight on my head and they aren't quite small enough to fit in my ear that has a tragus piercing. So what I need is something smaller and tighter. (That's what he said!)

Any suggestions?
