Default Micro Recorders - Boss Micro Br

I have recently started a project where we will be doing things a bit more digitally than before , most of the guys have the Boss Micro Br so therefore we will email lines and riffs back and forth until we have a good and concrete product, once complete everyone learns from the recording and when we get together theres no wasting time trying to work it out, just a good efficient practice ....

I have played with a buddies Br for a bit and its quite impressive , you can record 4 tracks, each with V-tracks that one can merge or modify as need be and when your done you compile into one beautiful piece ... The end product is pretty great aswell - not recording quality (im not looking for that) but good regardless ...

Now im all for it but is the Boss Micro Br really the best thing for the job at hand ? Just looking for opinions from those who have played with similar equipment before i go lay out the cash on it ...
