Beginner producer - help! (buying stuff)

Hello music buddies,

I'm looking to start my own little recording studio, just with basic things at first. I have all my instruments i need, but i was just wondering what would be the best way for a beginner to just record and produce music as a hobby? I was recommended interphase.

-if selling anything you think would be useful to me, msg me.

well a good interface that gives great sound and is easy to work with without spending much money is the apogee duet. it only have 2 inputs but it sounds amazing. you will also need software. i recommend Logic. It may not be as intuitive as protools but they give you more for your money and i love it (besides you need an mbox or something to run protools). you will need some sm57's. look for tutorials online for tips using logic.
