Default Professional Recording insights

Hey, everybody. I'm obviously new here, but I love to talk about gear and tone and all of that good stuff... I just finished working on a band's new EP. I was there for every step of the process. That is, preproduction, rough cuts, instrument tracking, tone selection.. the whole nine yards. The only process I was not involved in was mastering. That was handled by another company..

So if you would like some insights into how a sound like this is created, what instruments, amps, mics, etc. where used, just ask!

Oh, yeah, find the music here: [Link Removed by Mod]

I would love to go into detail about the recording, explaining how the band achieved the sounds they did, but isn't an example of the music necessary to do that? If not then I'm just explaining music that no one can listen to...
