That's what I did, but it eliminated little bits of sound for no apparent reason, and I was trying to use multiple tracks, so it became unbearable. Eventually, I just settled for one track - although it was definitely a less full sound, it was a lot better. There's just something jacked with my input, I think.

I even went so far as to record 30 seconds of silence at the beginning of each track and used that noise for the profile, to no avail.

In audition you can change how severe the noise reducition is working.
I'm not shure how this works in Audacity. I don't use it myself, it doesn't match with me :D.

Eitherway, time to fix that cable or jack plug because this isn't practical :)

(A very nice and beautiful girl recording multitrack sessions... It would have been too good to be true :D)

Why are we repeating the same things over and over? haha...
I know about the different types of noise reduction. I have enough noise reduction plugins and I know how they work. Yes, even the ones that let you collect a noise profile. The whole point was me trying to explain why her intended signals were being affected. I think some of your terminology was just confusing things. :)

Ah, yes. I guess it was :D.

Personally I think you should find and download another program. Audacity isnt great. You may find some of your noise problems going away.

Naaah, audacity isn't going to cause BuzZ, RezZ. It just can't.

I do agree that it's not great, but it's not going to solve this problem using other (better) software.
