Default Loop Station

I need to know what loop station to buy. I'm kinda new to playing the guitar. I've been serous about it for about four years and need some advice. Basically I need one so I can play chord progressions and practice scales or what ever over that. Been using backing tracks and it time to move on. I'm thinking of the Boss RC20xl I can a used one for a decent price and after reading a couple of reviews the RC20 is better than the RC30. AS far as I understand it, with the 20 you can run a CD through it and slow it down so I can figure out some of the licks I like. Any advice is Great Thanks

Get a Digitech RC-2. It has the ability to record several hours of playing and you can loop several different bits at once. I think it has drums on it too, but that always sounds a bit cheesy. It's about 200 bucks but I'd say that it's worth it if you're serious about your material that you're working with.

Just save up and get the RC300. Trust me, it'll be worth it.
