In case some people didn't know about Beats headphones being a fraud!

Basically what this article reveals the total production cost of the headphones is 16 dollars and the use of certain metal components to increase weight of the headphones to make them feel more "prestigious".
Read it up.

Any comments on experience of usage of the Beats?

As someone who lives in an apartment and listens to music on headphones, this seriously makes me feel relieved that I did NOT go near this brand and waste precious money on a set. I always felt that the hype was just that.

Duh. The easiest and quickest way to tell if someone is a dumbass is if they have a pair of beats.

I hear the un-boxing process is worth the hundreds of dollars though.

A friend bought fake beats (noticed later the box said 'beots') and they were even worse than normal beats, haha. They were really quite and some fiddling had to be done to make one of the earphones actually work. Later I commented on how bad the quality of beats was anyway, and her and someone else also in the room said "What? Beats are amazing quality!" and wouldn't believe me when I tried to dissuade them.

PLEASE RESTORE MY FAITH IN EDUCATED HUMANS IN TERMS OF HEADPHONES PEOPLE
