Default Studio speakers - what are some good brands?
I need to get some 'studio speakers' -I guess that's what they are called. Speakers for playing back recorded music. But, I don't know anything about studio speakers, so I don't know what kind I need or anything.

What would you recommend? What are some good brands?

I'm using Yamaha HS80M. A lot of people use them as they really good and reasonably cheap.

Dynaudio is rather nice, altough I've never heard monitors perform better than Genelecs. They are just epic. Especially the older (square ) ones

To save starting a new thread, can anyone recommend some half decent speakers? Will be used with my laptop. I usually listen to music on my headphones but currently listening on some shit Logitech speakers and only the right speaker is working.

Budget - £40 max.
