Default Oh the mud...

Anyone ever had any luck recording live... No matter what we do (strictly recording live) we get a whole lot of spill... I don't know if there is a device that can assist with this. I know we can do track by track, just curious if anyone has had any luck.

Use a bunch of mics.
The more mics the better as one mic can only pick up enough sound for a single instrument. Think of how many mics you see on drummers. They have like 7-8 microphones on them at shows. You get better quality and more sound coming in from your band.
That's gonna make a big difference.
