Any Way To Change Guitar FX Without Pedals?

Hi, I'm new so I apologize if I post in the wrong forum but this is the best that I could find that would match the subject.

I recently got into a band and we started gigging. The only problem I've been having is not being able to use my FX pedals. I'm a bilateral amputee so I don't have any feet to use on pedals. I have a footswitch that I can keep on my seat and can press, but even then, my options are really limited to 2-4 channels with pre-set fx and it's pretty difficult to switch on the fly when the switch is really hard to press. At the moment, I have a buddy who turn on/off fx pedals for me but I don't want him to have to multitask all that while he does his pedals too.

Is there a way to have all these FX turn on/off without needing pedals and be able to switch on the fly myself without needing help?

You can definitely find solutions to control your FX pedals without needing to use your feet. One option is to use a MIDI foot controller that you can operate with your hands. These controllers allow you to program presets for your FX pedals and switch them on and off with the press of a button. You can also use a MIDI foot controller in conjunction with a MIDI switcher, which allows for even more control over your effects.

Another option is to use a pedal switcher with a remote footswitch. Some pedal switchers allow you to control them remotely using a footswitch placed on your seat or within easy reach. This way, you can switch between different pedal configurations on the fly without needing help.

Additionally, there are some manufacturers that make footswitches with larger, easier-to-press buttons that may be more suitable for your needs. These footswitches can be connected to your FX pedals to allow for easier switching between effects.

It may take some experimentation to find the setup that works best for you, but with the right equipment, you should be able to control your FX pedals effectively without needing to use your feet.
